Post Bris

I'm really thankful that we got to go to the Bris and hear from everyone that spoke there.  It was really amazing.  It's also amazing to be able to know people at a bris and just sit down and be able to eat and talk.  

Thankful for the Koltais taking us for meals and for having all the amazing people around us.

Lulav-like thing was used to symbolize victory in court... Story of Rabbi who listened to the president of the US speak in the places where they gathered all the Jews... he asked president to get him the arba minim for sukkot from Italy during the war.  The Jews got the arba minim... had the Lulav... won the war "with the sword" in their hands.  Connected to the bris that G-d made with Abraham to always continue his children and their torah through every obstacle... egypt, holocaust, banning and fire

More Thanks

Kate got her visa!  It was amazing... she got it even though she didn't have a ticket and she didn't have money and the money she had to run and get from the atm was taken out of her account a few days later AFTER a check cleared so she didn't overdraw her account... thanks G-d :)
